I was skeptical when we bought this item. When we first used it I thought it was defective, I was wrong! We had a defective factory plug! An arc has formed around the receptacle on the POWSAV. After a trip to my local repair shop, they found that the factory plug was badly connected and the current draw was too high. After reducing the current draw and replacing the factory plug, we had no problems. In a POWSAV job ad, we had a bad 30 amp outlet at the nearest campground that showed a problem when plugged in. We replaced a 30 and the other one on the website was fine! POWSAV saved the day!
