I bought two of these mics for my music class so the kids could practice with them. First, the receiver broke on the first day of use when a student crashed into the karaoke machine. The second worked fine for a day, then the mic stopped catching. The receiver makes speaker clicks when I plug it in, but there's no microphone and I've changed all the batteries. Also annoying is that it takes 2 9V batteries which I don't usually have on hand. I'm switching to a wired microphone.
