This dress is very cute and I would say it fits true to size. If you're trying to decide between two sizes you can go down as my daughter wears a size 5T and it's a bit loose under the arms. I ordered 4-5. The main problem that bothers me about this dress is that the ears are sewn poorly. If you look at all of other people's photos, you will see that they jump forward. I think they had to be attached with thread. Also, I don't see it holding up even after a wash or two because a lot of the parts are hot glued. Overall I'd recommend it if you just want it for a birthday party or whatever, but it won't last very long. I'll probably secure my ears with string, but that's not exactly what I want to do when trying to get ready for a party.
