I bought this backpack for my second graders. He loves to! The straps are soft, the backpack is very durable. Lots of pockets (I think too many for my 2nd grader son). The 2 middle pockets go all the way to the end so you can't always see him dropping small things in them, but they are good for laptops or books. This would be great for a child or an adult!
