I bought this keyboard case to turn my iPad into a small laptop. It does a pretty good job, although you really need to put a hard surface underneath if you really want to use it on your lap. It's pretty flexible. On the downside, I found I could use it "tent-like" on my lap (folding the keyboard behind the device) if I just wanted to watch videos and the like. I actually do this often. And I think it greatly expands its functionality. In addition, the keyboard works well. It's easy to set up and the battery lasts forever. Printing is also easy. It's pretty light and not bulky at all. So it is very easy to carry. Basically, it really turns your iPad into a small laptop. I wish there was a way to disable the trackpad. I haven't found out yet if it's possible. Otherwise I am very satisfied with this device. I use it all the time and gladly recommend it to my friends.
