I've been using this for a year (with my D700 and D800) and have been really impressed with the image quality when taking astro photos (long exposure landscapes with a Milky Way in the background). The f/1.4 aperture is great for this purpose. However, lately I've been having issues with the aperture not fully closing or getting stuck when using apertures other than f/1.4. This led to exposure problems with my pictures. I'll see if I can use the aperture ring to set the aperture manually, so that option doesn't exist as the aperture blades don't have to stop for each shot. Otherwise it seems
