When everything is finished, this table looks very nice, not like a table to assemble yourself. Solid bamboo top and legs, can't tell if it's bamboo shelves or not, but the quality is good. During assembly I scratched the top grrrr, through my fault a small sharp rock somehow got underneath (the cat's fault). But I will say that it scratches moderately easily. Assembly is easy. Basically, but extra careful in the very first step, if the rails are put on incorrectly, the screws holding the plate will not go into the drilled holes because they are upside down. I made it, had to disassemble everything and start over. Also, do not judge its strength at this time, after the upper and lower parts are installed, it will harden well. The drawer is pre-assembled and fits perfectly. Its depth is about 2 inches, so it's very shallow. If you have already assembled similar furniture, this will not be difficult for you. It includes a screwdriver, but use your own if you have one. In general I like it very much. It fits in my little corner that really needed a small table and looks nice.
