The MoJack works as expected with one caveat: if you lift your mower just a little too high then the jack will not let you lower it. The second time I used it, I lifted it too high and couldn’t lower it forcing me to use two scissor jacks, two short 4x4s and a section of a 2x12 to take the weight off of the jack so I could then lower my SCAG Cheetah. This is obviously a bit dangerous and NOT the best solution but after trying a number of other things, it was the only thing that worked. In recent usage, I’ve been extremely careful to leave a few inches of the lifting strap showing and have not encountered the problem again. MoJack needs to update their manual warning users of this issue as I’m not the only one who has had this problem. In trying to get my mower down, I read a LOT of reviews and found numerous posts about this issue but none with a viable solution. Other than that, I’m happy with the ease of use and ability to clean under the deck and change blades.
