Absolute Game Changer

I've been buying new and used records for over 40 years. I stopped buying used classical records about ten years ago because I've never let them down: if I could find a Mercury Living Presence in perfect condition, I'd come home and find it sounded like sandpaper. I have tried all solvents and cleaning systems but to no avail. My audiophile friend recommended this device to me and I trusted his opinion. I'm glad I did. First I released ten albums, that were supposed to go to Goodwill, and nine of them turned out perfect. One of them was lead guitar (Julian Bream) and it was absolutely amazing. To date, 90-95% of all records I've cleaned have been pristine and amazing. I even clean new records before recording because it makes quiet tracks between songs SILENT and quiet passages DEAD SILENT. I thought it would be difficult to use the device but I found myself really enjoying the process. You may want to purchase an extra sink. My only complaint is that the screw used to attach the shaft that holds the records to my unit's motor came loose when I tried to tighten it hand tight. M3-0.5 screw (this is a very small fine pitch screw). Revain said they would send me a replacement shaft assembly but i have not received it yet. I was able to drill a hole to M4-0.7 and this slightly larger screw attached the shaft to the motor spindle. I am not affiliated with iSonic and do not write many reviews. However, this product deserves one. Likewise! My unit has a heater and I have found that if you get the water temperature above 80 degrees your albums will warp. As far as I know, heat does not help or enhance the cleaning process. That looks like the truth. If you insist on using heaters, pay attention to the temperature of the water. Great product and very well built. that your albums will warp if you get water temperatures above 80 degrees. As far as I know, Heat does not help or improve the cleaning process.
