My husband bought this blanket for me after much discussion. I was completely nervous about trying it as I'm horribly claustrophobic and feel trapped by even the lightest of things pressing on me. The first night with the blanket was a bit difficult, not because I felt trapped, just in getting used to it in general. I've had it now for about a week and a half and I absolutely LOVE it! I don't feel claustrophobic under it at all, in fact, I feel very comforted and calm. It has really helped my sleep anxiety, I fall asleep very quickly now, within minutes sometimes. Another surprise was that it helped my nighttime itching. I tend to become very itchy at night when I try to relax to sleep and I have found that while I still have an itch here or there, I am not constantly itching and I am able to relax and drift off to sleep faster. The only real "problem" I've had with it, is that I become very hot at night and this blanket is very warm. I definitely need my fan!
