Returned these tongs after first use. I set it on medium heat and curled three small sections of my daughter's hair before noticing that the hair was literally crispy after it cooled from the curl. I was scared and afraid that her hair would fall apart in my hands. I used to have crimpers. never had this problem. I hope I have a lemon, but if not, watch out.
