I'm one of those guys who has been through a lot of all this. I have an old car so the vents go down so the phone is always facing down. I also live in a hot city so I would like to have air conditioning. The last thing I had was magnetic Ipows and I really liked them, but now the magnet on my phone case is interrupting the charging process. However, that support brace below is just what I need! It also stretches a bit, but not too much compared to others, from the vents, so the vent can be used. Also, and I love it, there's no mechanism to press on the sides to unlock it. As your phone pulls it down, the bottom squeezes the sides together harder until it's secure. So when you need your phone, just pull it out. Even without a phone it looks good. To be honest, I still don't miss this holder. Time will test its durability, and while I don't suspect it will easily detach from the vent (it seems very reliable), time will test that as well. I will definitely update this review if either of the above two happens. Also, I really like this one for a lot of reasons. I understand why there are so many positive reviews.
