I was on a trip and did a lot of research on telephoto discounts. If you can find one of these, BUY IT. The Sigma and Tamron 70-300 are junk and the resale value of Minolta lenses is MUCH better. It is durable and will last another 20 years. These Tamrons and Sigmas get a bad rap for falling apart. Pay an extra $50-$75 and get it, when you no longer need it, resell it and you won't lose a penny.
