I bought this computer on the recommendation of a friend as she has had it for almost a year with no problems. I looked and looked in detail to make sure it wasn't a refurbished computer. Nowhere in the description or details did it say it was a refurbishment. I bought in December 2019 and apparently the warranty expired in November 2019. I had no problems with the computer for the first 30 days, then the screen went black and wouldn't turn on. HP won't do anything until I buy a service pack at a ridiculously high price. Now I have a computer that doesn't work and I can't do anything about it unless I spend an absurd amount of money so I can buy a new computer.
