It does NOT hurt/scratch my gums!
I've been struggling with sensitive teeth for decades. This toothbrush has done two things for me. First, my gums stopped swelling which made my teeth very sensitive. Between the silver and the design of the brushes themselves, I am pleased that I can now drink water WITH ICE. Secondly, I ordered a youth size brush. I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner. I have a very small mouth and using a regular adult toothbrush has always made it difficult to remove molars to the gum line. Such a simple thing that makes life so much more enjoyable. I will buy again. I will also buy for my grandchildren.
