These ear pads for the Sony MDR-7506 headphones could only have been better if they were made of very soft genuine leather and fitted almost exactly like the originals. If you know of such ear pads please let me know as I've been looking for years for some ear pads that are better than the original Sony ear pads and just found these very soft and ventilated ear pads at a significant discount compared to Sony . The trick is that the memory foam in these pads is only slightly thicker than stock, making them very comfortable. And because they're not as thick as some other pads, the 7506 doesn't lose its great sound. The bass stays and the highs are not hissed. The fact that they are also ventilated with tiny holes helps prevent the pads from sweating. Only premium leather would be better. I will be ordering another pair and putting them aside for a few years in the future.
