He likes it - me.

Let me start by saying that I love all Melissa and dog toys in general. These are simple, high quality products. I've been thinking about getting some sort of splitting device for a while and figured that around 2.5 years old would probably be the right time, especially since my son is currently keen to keep everything in the house (including the dogs and me) to repair". ). by hitting with plastic keys and screwdrivers. I've seen so many toys where the pins go through too easily (what's the point) or almost impossible to score (kid has to "practice" by hitting them). harder and harder and harder - creating a sense that any endeavor requires full power and jeopardizes the health and life of all beings, living and non-living, they encounter on their way). They come off fairly easily, but the mechanism that keeps the pegs attached to the bank at all times creates at least a little resistance and gets it "just right". Now that I've decided to buy the toy I thought the idea of leaving the pegs attached to the bench was a great idea. I'm an elderly parent and little one doesn't understand that I have to bend down a lot further to pick up 43 billion toys that inevitably end up right under the sofa, batteries, closets, etc. I've been looking forward to this particular device the whole time to stick together. And we get a toy. When you hammer a pin in on one side, the opposite pin sticks out with its small side facing up. When I actually tested the toy, I panicked. No way would he enjoy it! How frustrating it is - you can never score all the pins! How should he express his anger? Will this very strong wooden toy fly through the room, shatter windows, crack skulls? Am I condemning him to a painful life by creating a young Sisyphus? To take away all hope for the future? Is there a chance of success? Only time can tell. We've had him for a few days now and he loves it so much, he can score four different colored emoji pens and then magically there are four more different colors to score. He calls it his "tool bench" and as soon as he wakes up he asks to go downstairs and play with it. I leave it and go to another room - that's too stressful for me ;)
