I'm not a flat footed person; I expected these shoes to turn heads, but they let me down a bit. I liked the design and the colors. The heel cushioning is amazing. But it lacks the same plush feel in the forefoot, and the arch support is WAY excessive. After a week of running, I've jumped out of these sneakers into my "streets" and I feel a hundred times better. Put ASICS back on and you'll look like an unstoppable river rock swept through the arch area. The insides of my knees started to hurt, and I found it to be from insoles or shoes with too much arch support. I hate insoles or shoes that suggest people need serious arch support and unfortunately this shoe is one of those shoes. I went back to my Nike Tempo NEXT% and the pain was gone. Sorry ASICS! I tried them.
