I have tried all types of knee braces and orthotics as I have had persistent pain in one knee due to arthritis and after a menisectomy. The sleeves just compress and don't support, and other braces I've tried are too bulky or move my knee one way or the other and not the way I want it to. Today I received the Tech Ware Pro Knee Bandage. When I started walking in it today, my eyes watered with relief. IT DOES FOR ME! The key point is bilateral support. The middle strap goes one way and the top and bottom straps go the other way. I can adjust the tension on the left, right, upper and lower straps to align the patella exactly where needed for maximum support. The profile of the brace is very thin - so thin that at first I doubted it would provide adequate support. But that! It's snug enough to securely hold my knee, yet light and thin enough to flex and straighten my legs. I should add that the size wasn't an issue. My 6ft 5in 275lb husband who has large limbs tried it and was comfortable. We think anyone with even bigger feet can just buy a velcro extender and it will work too. Finally, the material is strong and durable with very good stitching and non-slip material on the inside. I paid full price for this knee pad and nobody asked me to write a review. I like to leave reviews for products that are exceptionally well made.
