Love this little coat! I was worried it wouldn't fit my mini poodle (15-16lbs) but I have the XXL and it fits him perfectly with little room when he grows his fur out. It is ideal because it covers the entire body including the hind legs but leaves a litter hole for both females and males. The hood is a little funky. The hood is a bit long and the end is tighter so it doesn't fit my dog very well but I got it more for the coat idea anyway. It's very warm and soft. As for washing, I washed and dried it on a quick cycle in the cold and it didn't shrink at all. It lost some of its softness as a result, so I'll try drying it out and see what happens. I'll update when I do. The only problem I have are the buttons. They're quite difficult to assemble and disassemble, but there are only four of them, so it's not that difficult. Overall this is a great little coat and I would highly recommend it to anyone with a small dog.
