Comfortable and easy to pack
It's basically like putting on thick, hard-soled nylon socks. My kids don't seem to complain and they don't seem uncomfortable. They are true to size, but if your child has thick ankles they may be tight in this area. My youngest son has small hobbit feet and needs help getting dressed while my eldest son has thin long feet and has no problem slipping in and out.
