Fairly thin plastic

I like the style and size of the numbers. I used it to paint our address on a large terracotta flower pot in the courtyard. However, when I carefully applied the paint to the stencil, the bottom corner 2 bent and broke off! It was difficult to finish the template work. And I can't use 2 again for anything else. The plastic is pretty thin.
