There are 4 padded pockets, 3 on the outside front pocket and a LARGE one in the main compartment. You'll also find a laptop sleeve big enough for a MacBook Pro. There is also an attached keychain inside. This bag has a really BIG feature, a quick access "back entry" pocket for instant access to the bottom of the bag, as well as a wet/dry pocket. I've seen this feature in several bags and am a huge fan. However, most baby bags these days don't come with a quick access tissue pocket. There is enough space inside the bag to store diapers. When I ordered it, it was $30 with coupon; great price for such a stylish and multifunctional backpack. This can be a school bag for cold drinks and lunch/snacks, a travel bag or a baby diaper bag.
