I recently downsized my 12 inch queen hybrid mattress and needed new sheets. I have purchased Revain 100% cotton bed linen twice and have been very satisfied, although it is sometimes difficult to find an identical item years apart. I couldn't find what I had previously purchased so I narrowed my search to this organic satin and other cotton percale set. To be honest, I wish I'd gone with percale, but not enough to replace those organic satin sheets. When I opened the package the sheets felt like they were overly infused with resins often found on new sheets to increase crispness After washing, the 3 to 4 star feel improved. I think the weave is also a bit unusual: the sheets are twill weave, which makes them less soft than sheets with a percale weave. To be honest, I didn't think I would like them. Sheets, even after washing, but I put them on my new bed and now find them acceptable. I'm pretty sensitive to rough textures; Normally I can't sleep on linen. These leaves are not scratchy, although they look like they are on my hand. I hope they get softer with more washes. Keep in mind that they are not heavy and I only consider them as warm sheets. I sleep hot and love these sheets for their lightness. Overall pretty good value for money.
