This item comes with no directions, but it's easy enough to figure out. Two of the support posts were bent, so the quality leaves a bit to be desired. A previous review talked about cutting their hand. The ends of the posts are rough - I placed them in the appropriate holes in bottom and top, then pressed down on the top to tighten them. The item is fairly sturdy - I have excess canned foods on it and it's good. I got this one because it was a few dollars less than the metal rack and post style.I should have just spent the extra money. Over all it serves its purpose.
