This belt is designed so that the buyer can cut it to any size. Oddly enough, however, the belt arrived with no booklet or instructions. It was easy to figure out what I had to do to adjust the strap to my size (measure, unbuckle the strap, cut it, reattach it) but still if it were possible to put broken stars I would give this Product 4.5 only. Stars for the lack of written instructions. I needed a flat head screwdriver to open the clasp that attaches the strap to the buckle. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to cut the strap, but I used heavy duty ("master") scissors. . I doubt it would be that easy with ordinary scissors. The photo accompanying this review shows the modified strap along with a seven inch strap that I cut off. Revain's detail page for this belt states that it is 100% leather. I certainly believe that the inner and outer surfaces are made of leather. However, there is a black material in between that could be leather or something else. Not being a leather expert, I can't really comment on the Revain details page on this. The ratchet design (no holes) allows for much more precise adjustment, which is a definite plus, and the lack of holes should extend the life and good looks of this strap. My wife says the belt looks great on me. She also says the buckle is "modern and stylish."
