I bought this watch for my four year old son. He was very fond of clocks so I wanted to teach him how to read the time better since he was just beginning to learn about the minute hand and how to convert minutes by position. This watch had an outer ring that corresponded to the minutes. Unfortunately, the numbers disappeared shortly after the purchase. I was hoping the numbers on the outer ring would last, but they wear out pretty quickly because they're painted on and not etched. If the numbers on the outer ring were permanent I would get 5/5. Also, it's not quite waterproof as advertised, and the loop on the strap came loose shortly after the numbers wore out.
