Metal stamping is new to me
I'm new to metal stamping and can be quite clumsy at times. I was worried about getting my fingers off it when making a metal project so I bought this hammer jig to hold my metal stamps in place while I hammered with the hammer. I didn't have to worry and spend money on this item. While the mount does the job it claims, I found it unnecessary and cumbersome when working. If in the future I injure my fingers by not using this device, I may change my mind, but for now I don't find it necessary or useful.
