These things are just as good as the picture and even better in real life. The fabric is high quality inside and out, the seams and embroidery are high quality. The hat and gloves fit our 19 month old grandson well but still have room to grow. Perhaps they will become relevant in the next season. I was surprised that he could place his thumb in the right place with both mittens very easily. However, he removed his mittens to climb the stairs to the playground slides. I guess they seemed bulky or slippery for him to hold on to. But he left a cap to warm his ears. I'm glad I bought them and I think the price was fair
