This is one of those products that you don't realize you need until your child starts throwing everything off their tray or table! The straps can be securely tightened around the straw bowl and high chair. The loop mechanism seems to be holding up pretty well. I'm sure it can wear out a bit over time and it will be easier for a kid to take it apart. By the way, for some reason my kid also liked to play with it. I wouldn't let her do this unsupervised, but she liked the little bears on her straps and just wanted to carry them around. I probably wouldn't recommend them for teething, but as bottle straps they work great!
