I came back for these having bought a previous pair. I mainly use them for running. They're lightweight, durable and don't absorb moisture, which is what you need for running. These are not bulky socks and I personally don't like bulky running socks because they are bulky and tend to trap moisture. Do not worry. They offer enough padding that you don't feel like you're not wearing socks at all. However, they are lighter and more comfortable for walking. Longevity has been good for a pair I bought a year or two ago.
