Quality at a reasonable price

This is my first bluetooth communicator. Undoubtedly worth the money! Let's be honest with ourselves... This product will have the same features as most Cardo and Sena helmet communicators, but at less than half the price. However, I met my expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Upon opening the box, the build quality of the FX8 appears to be solid. It has a rubber coating that provides the necessary traction. Turning it on and off is pretty easy. Pairing with Bluetooth and other devices was also pretty easy. I recommend watching their instructional videos here or on Youtube. It makes more sense than reading charts. I was satisfied with the sound quality. It won't be audiophile quality, but you're too busy motorcycling to care. My favorite part is the volume wheel, which is very responsive and feels natural as you turn it. I'm still working on the VHF radio part... I'll get back to you. As for installation, it was quick and easy for me on my AGV K3 helmet. I didn't need more than one clip, especially as my K3 helmet already had velcro earmuffs. The soft microphone works best in my full face helmet. In summary I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this unit to new riders or riders going on a group ride. It does all the essentials right and you don't have to worry about paying an entire arm and leg to have it replaced.
