Quality materials and performance

Many devices use HDMI cables, but not all are created equal. Before you buy your next 4k or 8k TV, be sure to research the HDMI standard. I have a TV with HDMI 1.4 that never plays 4k but still looks great in "1k, HD or 1080p". I have another TV with HDMI 2.1 that can play 4k but not when using my Blu-ray player. This helped me to buy a cable. It made a big difference.
