Review on Smart watch Coros Pace 2 silicone, dark navy by Petar Moysov ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything about the purchase suits me, a very necessary product.

My physical education background includes primarily riding, skiing, and sporadic use of home workout equipment. In particular, I was seeking for a monitoring watch to record GPS tracks for skiing and riding. Practice has shown that using a smartphone to record tracks is generally problematic. For one thing, it is not always convenient to use a smartphone (especially in cold weather), and for another, even when the "don't upload to save power" option is selected, the operating system will still remove track recording applications from memory. started to look for choices. I read through several evaluations again and realized that regular smart watches aren't really useful for physical education. Additionally, practically all models from sports watch manufacturers like Garmin, Suunto, and Polar have received complaints. proceeded gradually to Coros. It turned out that the Coros goods receive almost no negative evaluations precisely because they are a "Sports watch": the reviews are favorable. "Coros Pace 2" was my choice. The main reasons for Coros in general and on "Coros Pace 2" in particular are as follows: 1) Positive comments on capturing and seeing GPS tracks 2) Prolonged battery life 3) a transflective display is present. 4) The function "constant night illumination" is present. 5) don't require the features of a "full-fledged" smart watch (payment, program installation, etc.). 6) the availability of a barometer and a barometric altimeter (required for alpine skiing in order to measure vertical drops on the slopes). 7) Reasonable cost (for a sports watch) The junior model "Coros Pace 2" has a fair pricing. The Coros watch is not for you if you require a smart watch with a touchscreen, music, payment capabilities, the ability to install apps, etc. This is a wonderful option if you require a watch to keep track of your exercise. Not because the watch is awful, but rather due to the listed flaws, which are generally not serious, I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. I paid 19,000 in June 2022 (with a 10% reduction using a discount card). In general, a very good and useful sports equipment for those who participate in physical education and comprehend why it is required. I suggest this for hours of satisfaction.

Pros
  • At least for a man's hand, an acceptable size (not bulky). 2) The item is light and hardly noticeable in the hand. Excellent running time on a single charge: 25–27 days in "just watch" mode with application alerts turned off. In the standard GPS track recording mode, the usage is 3% to 4% every hour, with a maximum recording time of 30 hours; in the economical GPS track recording mode, the maximum recording time is 60 hours. 4) I tested the heart rate monitor's accuracy with a heart rate monitor with a chest sensor, and it was quite accurate. 5) In the training mode, you can modify the screens (the number of screens, the variety of counters on each screen, etc.). 6) A continual night illumination mode is available for nighttime training. 7) Practical and effective Android mobile application 8) reliably records GPS tracks and locates the location fast 9) In addition to the graph, there is a barometer and a barometric altimeter that both function properly. They display the number of "floors" you have climbed. 10) The screen's backlight functions properly. 11) There is a thermometer (careful: you must take your watch out of your hand to get accurate readings). 12) the capability to post results to numerous internet services, including Apple Health, Strava, Training Peaks, Relive, Final Surge, and Relive. 13) The capability of uploading tracks in the following formats: *. fit, *. tcx, *. gpx, *. kml, and *. csv 14) the capacity to design an arbitrary training schedule (I don't use it, but athletes may find it useful) 15) the absence of a touchscreen and the drawbacks of using one The screen is easily readable in the sun thanks to transreflective technology (16). 17) There are profiles for various activities, including "exercise bike, etc." in the room. 18) the availability of a well functioning pedometer (there is some error, as with any pedometer, but within reasonable limits) 19) Notifications from applications exist; I don't use them because they're unnecessary and I want to conserve energy.
Cons
  • 1) [REALLY IMPOSSIBLE] Every interchangeable dial in the "just watch" mode has some sort of flaw: There is not a single dial that is both lovely and functional (such that all indications are easily seen and intelligible) at the same time. All dials are more or less clunky. A majority of replaceable dials only show the day and the day of the week; b) the reading numbers are either too little, too huge, or some readings are not displayed. d) The current date with a month (particularly a year) and both seconds are not displayed on a single interchangeable dial. c) Numerous dials have an unsuitable font for numbers (too curved tails and sticks; as a result, the numerals 5 and 6 appear to be the same size, for example). 2) [REALLY IMPOSSIBLE] The readings on the pedometer cannot be reset or linked to the beginning of a workout. Daily steps are precisely counted from 0 to 24 hours. 3) [REALLY INCONVENIENT] I checked with a heart rate monitor with a chest sensor, and the values are "delayed" by 5–10 seconds. 4) [NO THREAT] Although this is advantageous for pressing on the hand for a more accurate heart rate monitor, the stock strap is overly soft and elastic, which makes it difficult to secure and unfasten. I purchased a strap from "Coros Apex 42 mm"; it is tougher and easier to fasten. 5)[NON-CRITICAL] Every time a smartphone app sends out a background request for permanent labor (I always decline, but the program does not remember the decision), 6) [NO THREAT] The application on the smartphone cannot be closed; it hangs in memory and, eventually, the operating system appears to discharge it on its own. 7) [NOT CRITERIA] A spinning wheel-button is not a particularly practical option (although, in general, it functions great; still, in my own view, buttons are more practical). 8) Non-standard charging connector—a separate cable is required 9) You must manually locate "circles" because there is no alpine skiing or snowboarding mode (in this model). 10) [CRITICAL] There will be no official guarantee or service in 2022; instead, everything will depend on merchants' consciences.
