The attachment to the table is strong. I'm sure it will hold the weight. It was pretty easy to set up. But I have two problems with it. PROBLEM ONE The Vesa mount fits the computer well, but it doesn't fit the monitor arm snugly. As a result, the monitor wobbles and cannot be set up exactly. Mounting on the arm made of cheap plastic. I think if I push it too hard it will just break. PROBLEM TWO The lever with a gas spring is a complete joke. When I press on my hand it just springs back. You can see in the photo that it is adjustable. But in my case it is not regulated at all. You push him down, he gets back up. I've read other reviews with similar issues, so this seems to be a known issue. So if you're thinking, "Wow, that spring arm is an idea for my laptop," think again. This is a trick, and there's a nice twist, it won't work at all. I would buy this again. The simple answer is NO!
