These were pretty easy to put together, and we had all our friends of varying sizes try them out. They hold weight, but the seat area is small and the edges are too sharp. When I picked up one of the chairs to move it during a party, it cut my finger so deeply that it took a week to heal. These chairs are functional, but be careful when you handle them. You should probably buy cushions for them, too.
