It has the same resolution as my laptop and the speakers on the display work well. The clarity is wonderful, like I had the brightness dialed in perfectly. All the cables that came with it came in handy, so I didn't have to buy an extra USB. Setup is very easy and gives you step-by-step instructions on what type of cables to use based on the type of laptop you have. I was able to quickly and easily switch between using the speakers on my laptop and using two monitors and everything works great. I would recommend this monitor to anyone who doesn't need a big screen as it is easy to set up and portable. He didn't sit down either. What's even more interesting to me is that this would make the perfect gift for any occasion, Christmas or Birthday. This is highly recommended for those who work in the computer industry as it makes their jobs easier.
