I used these to hang a mesh sun tarp on our campervan awning and they were so easy to use! I bought two packs to hang a 16ft tarp from a 16ft shed and I have 4 hooks left. The hooks are large enough to hang a range of outdoor lights and I believe the canopy will roll up if we pull the hooks out of the rubber holders without first removing the holders - easy as pie. Rubber hook holders have rod-like ends that are a different size on each end, and each end can have a hook. This allows you to choose the side that best suits the awning channel. They use the same channel or groove as your awning's lift cord/tape, so you can leave the lanyard at one end of the awning (like we did) or dangling it in the middle of the awning, but you'll have to figure it out where you want before gluing them in place. They are a lot easier to use than I thought. awning, and then use these hooks to hang the sun awning from the front. We've added a camper mat the same size as the canopy and will be making a do-it-yourself skirt using two heavy white shower curtain liners attached with Velcro strips. It should help keep you cool this summer and it gives us a cozy outdoor space to sit and enjoy the great outdoors in cold weather.
