We managed to feed our baby in doses. Supposedly accurate to within 10 grams. This works for the most part, but be aware that the platform will tilt slightly if the weight is unevenly distributed. We filled a bottle with 50g milk and deleted the credit on another empty bottle. If we put the bottle in the middle, we get 0.05 kg - perfect. If we moved the bottle to the edges of the platform it would read 0.04kg. Therefore, it is important to place the child in the same place each time. We typically tried to align the center of his chest with the LED for consistency. We had it for about a month and our son belched right on the display and it stopped working. It does not let water through at all and is apparently very sensitive. Since it was accurate enough for us, we bought a second one instead of taking the risk of buying another product that we are unfamiliar with. Edit: Our second arrived and wasn't as flat as the first. One of the legs was about 1/4" to 3/8" above the rack. It was very inconsistent when testing known weights. He definitely wasn't okay with a baby on him. Unfortunately I had to go back and we still don't have a scale. The second one didn't include a tape measure either (although it's fine)
