Review on ๐ŸŒฟ Revitalizing Eucalyptus Aluminum Sensitive Salt Stone: Gentle and Effective Care by Heidi Young

Very different from the Santal variant of the product

Having had good experiences with Salt & Stone deodorant with Santal over the last few months I thought I'd try this eucalyptus variant but I have to say it is so very different. As I noted in my review of the sandal variation, this product's scent is reminiscent of the Every Man Jack Cedarwood and Sandalwood deodorants I've been using for the past few years after years of the regular-scented Speed Stick. However, when I first smelled eucalyptus in this product, I could easily mistake it for cough drops and couldn't imagine myself wearing it. However, once applied, the smell wasn't that strong, and after a few uses I liked it enough as an alternative to other deodorants I've been using over the past few weeks. If you're thinking of trying Salt & Stone, remember that each of the deodorants on offer is different. For example, the sandal variant is "designed to provide 48-hour protection," and the company makes no such claims for this eucalyptus variant. Comparing them, I notice that while this eucalyptus variation glides very smoothly, I joked in my review of the sandal variation that it "sticks like a glue stick." Although I didn't test the sandal variant for the full 48 hours, I know from experience that it offers more than 24 hours of protection and this one less than 24 hours. So trading extra protection for extra cleaning is a tradeoff. Remove the Santal variant in the shower. I've recently tried other natural alternatives to Every Man Jack and this one from Salt & Stone is a decent alternative but costs over 3 times the price of Every Man Jack and doesn't offer the protection of the sandal variant. So if I buy Salt & Stone in the future, I plan on going for the sandal-scented version instead.
