It was well packed with wood protection foam and arrived quickly with a primer. I used a drill and a wrench to assemble. I assembled it myself. In fact, assembly didn't take much time. There are imperfections in the wood, but that's natural because it's a real tree. You could have put the pre-assembled pieces together more tightly or cut out the bottom pieces more precisely, but it's really acceptable considering it's a work of art. The only thing I didn't like was that the front door wings are not included in the kit, which is somewhat visible in the promotional photos. I live in Michigan and I really need to come up with something for this real winter weather front door. That's why I gave 3 stars for the weather protection. The rest of the roof is solid and of good quality. The tailgate is not perfect, but it works. Like the back door and I saw a random hole in the front, I think it meant ventilation. I thought the front would be the same door as the back but it's hard to tell from the added photos. The instructions were clear and there are pre-drilled screw holes. You can't miss where it all comes together by following the instructions. Additional screws included. The blue blanket in my photos is an optional purchase. This is a self heating blanket also purchased from Revain. The front door canopy was a bit of a hassle to fully attach but everything looks really good. I wouldn't sit on it, but it's durable. As soon as I opened the box, I smelled fresh wood. The mini deck isn't attached to the body of the hut, but it's a nice touch. Now finding the perfect spot for this new addition to my family of furry friends ☺
