they worked a few weeks and then caught fire. Then I wouldn't walk for more than an hour just to add extra light to the room. I just turned them on and left the room and when I came back they were flickering in weird color combinations and half of them weren't working. I looked behind my bed and pulled the plug because I saw a red light on the part of the plug (that has no light on the plug) and on further inspection (after grabbing it and burning my hand) I realized that it was starting to melt and will probably burn my house down. The seller cannot be contacted for a new one or refund. I hope it's just one time but I'm definitely nervous about ordering another one.
