A+. I confess that they smelled disgusting in the store. They smelled just as bad when I bought them on Amazon. HOWEVER, the hair dryer smell was minimal and didn't stink. It was pleasant. I didn't have any of the stains I've experienced with Purex wash/dry towels (the ones that left horrible stains in the dryer that would take seconds to wash). Not this one. They work great. I also found them to work better than 7th gen freeandclear. I have a fleece (which says not to use on it, only on it) that is always full of static with other fabric softeners. not this one. .static is gone! I also appreciate that they're compostable (I don't compost them, but I appreciate that they're not plastic that can't be recycled). YES, they are weird if you cuddle for 20 years or whatever. but you'll get used to it if you try. Especially when you compare ingredients!
