This patch was a real gift for dressing up 2 recent dermatological surgeries on my husband's face and on my face. It can be precisely contoured (think of a groove at the base of the nose) and glued securely with little to no snagging. However, it's easy to take it off when it's time to change the dressing. This is similar to what they use to attach pressure bandages immediately after surgery. Also, we had no reaction to the adhesive, not even on the skin of our face (bandage adhesive is often more painful to my skin than the actual injury). I look forward to using this more broadly in the future. This would be great for places like ankles where movement is difficult for band-aids.
