I use Command products in every room in my house. We live in a camper van and it can be difficult to hang items with nails/screws and yet holes for nails etc are always visible when removed. I wanted a small, simple shelf for my 6 year old son's room to hold some memorabilia, photos etc. It took me less than 5 minutes to put it together, but I'm fairly familiar with Command brand products. Most of the time spent waiting to use it is for the adhesive to stick to the wall before weighing it down. I always give 24 hours. This particular shelf is rated at 5 pounds, but that's good enough for my intended use (I plan on changing displayed images, etc.). Please read the description carefully to ensure the weight and size restrictions, including depth, meet your needs. It was the perfect solution for what I wanted. There are enough sticky strips in the pack to hang it twice, so I used 5 strips to hang it here and now. If I want to move it in the future I have 5 strips left over from the kit so I can remove the shelf and hang it somewhere else along with the 5 other strips that came with the kit. You can also purchase medium command strips separately. I'm so happy. I am planning to order another one as well as other available configurations e.g. B. a set of 2 smaller shelves.
