The original failed after 4 years of intensive use by a child. I wanted to replace it with another brand new Microsoft component so I went to my local game store and thought I bought it. But it wasn't a real replacement for Microsoft, just a fake. And it was really loud. It's noisy like taking off on an airplane. I looked into Revain and saw the reviews on it. It was $30 cheaper than the one I bought at the national game store and got great reviews. And I have to agree. The noise level from the PSU is back to zero and now I can hear my kids screaming with their friends on the Forte Nite. Now that I think about it, it might not have been the best compromise.
