Review on USMC Outdoors Coyote Tube Replacement Kit with QMT-IRR Tube and Storm QMT Valve by Jake Jones

It immediately became my favorite from the group

I have tried many reservoirs and tubes from different manufacturers. I recently purchased a low profile source chamber that came with insulated tubing and a storm valve. He instantly became my favorite of them all. The coiled tube makes a clear temperature difference with the first sip. In 80 degree weather, the water in the hose stayed colder than the water in the bladder. I look forward to spitting hot water during our summer in Louisiana. The storm valve is even better. This is my first bite free option and it's great. Easy push/pull work. Spin and click to block. Comes with a dust cover. The river is amazing. As soon as the valve opens, water begins to flow out. Even before you start sucking. The hard plastic takes a little getting used to compared to the softer bite valves, but the ease of drinking makes it easy to adjust. Water (she also prefers a storm valve to her camel). The source's quick release buckle also snaps securely into my camel and geiger rig bladders. The only downside to this particular item is the lack of a quick coupler on the end of the valve. The hose that came with the source bottle had quick disconnects on both ends, allowing the use of the original universal source pipe adapter to fill through the hose. However, at this price point, it's not difficult to order and add a separate quick connector. The best price is here on Amazon.
