I ordered this product because it is more of a shoe than a boot. The boots are very chunky on a small foot and they also cover the ankles. I found them perfect. I ordered a size 12.5, the same size as my son's shoes. The shoes were very tight and small. I think it could fit a whole size bigger but the shoes are narrow. My son is your average height, has feet that are neither very narrow nor very wide, and his toes fall well. I think they would be a great shoe for kids with narrow feet and would only last one season (e.g. fall or winter, not both). The outside of the shoe is suede and looks very nice. Inside it looks very warm with no extra padding, just lining.
