I bought this as a stand to place one monitor on top of another and it works pretty well for the job. It was relatively easy to install and has a variety of mounting options depending on what you have. The monitor certainly won't fall off its stand anytime soon, but read on for some durability features. In my particular setup, it was not possible to extend the stand arm directly out of the monitor, so the stand was offset to the side and the arm came out at an angle to the monitor. However, due to the resulting weight distribution on the stand, the monitor tilted slightly. Of course, this is the maximum monitor size of 27 inches. There's no way to rotate the monitor to easily fix this, but the tilt can be reduced if you want a similar setup by moving the stand arm sideways first and then straight perpendicular to the monitor on the part that rotates itself follows . This reduced the leanness to a level where it was barely noticeable but still present. All in all a solid product, just be aware that there are probably sturdier things out there if a slight tilt bothers you and you can't place the stand directly behind the monitor.
