Review on AIMEILI Soak Off UV LED Gel Nail Polish - Blue (030) 10ml: Long-lasting and Vibrant Manicures at Home by Andrea Turnon

UPDATE: 10 days later the nail polish still looked the same as all my other photos, only normal nail growth is visible at the base. I was ready for a new polish! I've read some negative reviews about this polish not being washable, but I've had no problems. Surfaces sanded and then soaked for a standard 15 minutes; Scraped off immediately, no problem. The first time I did a gel manicure at home and I am very glad that I chose this varnish! I used a MelodySusie 12W LED bulb and Aimeili Base and Top Coat. I took the advice of other reviewers - thin coats! seal edges! I spent a full 60 seconds on each layer, rubbing the top coat with rubbing alcohol when I was done (Aimeili's top coat claims it doesn't rub in, but did anyway). The color is nice but I thought it was more of a slate gray shade. It's definitely lavender. Today is day five and no chips or shells are visible - they look just like the night I finished! This nail polish lasts longer and lasts a lot better than the last salon gels I've put on which came off on the 3rd day. Honestly I think application really matters and my manicurist applied it in one thick layer. I don't have to worry about them anymore, now I know I can make them better myself! And saving a few bucks wouldn't hurt either :) I'll stick with this brand of gel and get more colors!
